Freddie Freeman is still feeling “lingering effects” of the stinger in his neck/shoulder that kept him out of the previous game, but Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said there are “no lingering effects.” He’s back in the lineup for the opener of a weekend series against the Diamondbacks on Friday. Tommy Edman, meanwhile, took live at-bats earlier this afternoon, but he still has some steps to clear before coming back. The hope is he and Max Muncy will go out on a rehab assignment next week.
