Commentary
Nottingham Forest claim their first Premier League win of the season at Aston Villa's expense, and the hosts remain pointless after losing 2-1 at Villa Park. Goals at either end of the second half saw Forest submit Villa to another league defeat, as Delap brilliantly put them in front straight after the break before Igor Jesus left the bench to score a late winner. In between, Villa had pulled level through their own Brazilian substitute, Alysson, which finally ended their top-flight goal drought but ultimately wasn't enough for any points. There were further chances at either end throughout an open encounter, with Sels pulling off a sensational double save in the first half and Suzuki doing similar after the interval. Thanks to a superb second-half showing, Forest finished with an xG of 1.92 from 22 shots compared to Villa's modest 0.86 from seven, and they fully merit a first Premier League victory at this venue since 1994. Coincidentally, both sides will face Coventry City next time out: Emery's men in the EFL Cup on Wednesday, and Glasner's side three days later in the league. The latter's reign of supremacy over Emery continues! That's all from Birmingham, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!
FULL-TIME: ASTON VILLA 1-2 NOTTINGHAM FOREST
JUST WIDE! Gibbs-White almost adds a final flourish, as his 25-yard free-kick zips over the wall and curls narrowly wide of the top-right corner!

Perhaps partly out of frustration, Mings body-checks Gibbs-White midway through his own half. That has to be a booking.
Has Villa's last chance to draw level already gone? Manzambi's throughball sends Mbaye away down the left, but the young winger inexplicably rolls a tame ball straight towards Sels, who gladly gathers it up.
At the end of a rapid counter-attack, Igor Jesus releases Williams into the left side of the box, but a loose touch sees the latter shut down. Still, Forest can kill more precious time while preparing to take a corner.
