2026-27 MLB offseason: Best fits for top free agents

Free agency starts at 5 p.m. ET on Nov. 2. Here are some pairings we'd love to see as this winter gets underway.

Braves exercise options on Ronald Acuña Jr., Ozzie Albies

Outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.'s $17 million option was exercised Thursday by the Braves, who also exercised a $7 million option on second baseman Ozzie Albies.

Mariners exercise Andrés Muñoz option, decline Victor Robles, Bryce Miller options

Reliever Andrés Muñoz's $9 million option was exercised Thursday by the Mariners, preventing the pitcher from becoming eligible for free agency. Seattle also declined a $9 million option on outfielder Victor Robles, who is eligible to be a free agent.
