Joe Hart kept a clean sheet on his Burnley debut as the Clarets came away with a goalless draw at Istanbul Basaksehir in their Europa League third qualifying round clash.
Burnley, appearing in their first game outside the UK in 51 years, were given a boost by Hart, who only completed his move from Manchester City on Tuesday.
Overall, though, there were few chances as the Premier League opted to attack only rarely.
Basaksehir had the best chance to score on the hour mark as Milos Jojic appeared to beat Hart but shot into the side-netting.
The two sides will meet again at Turf Moor in a week's time to decide who goes through to the final playoff round.
