Own goal leads to Gotham FC and Seattle Reign 1-1 draw
Seattle Reign FC finished with a draw against NJ/NY Gotham FC when an own goal by Gotham's Nealy Martin tied the game 1-1 at Red Bull Arena on Sunday.
In second-half stoppage time, Bethany Balcer and Sofia Huerta led Seattle's attack with dangerous crosses that resulted in Nealy Martin inadvertently putting one past her goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger with one minute before the full-time whistle.
Rose Lavelle's goal in the 47th minute gave Gotham FC the lead going into the second half. Ella Stevens had the assist.
