Scheffler forces Monday playoff with Hovland at Travelers
Scottie Scheffler made an 8-foot par putt on the 18th hole Sunday, forcing a sudden-death playoff against Viktor Hovland on Monday at the rain-delayed Travelers.
Hovland birdies 18, leaps Scheffler atop Travelers Championship
Viktor Hovland birdied the 18th hole at the Travelers Championship to take a one-shot lead over Scottie Scheffler, who three-putted for bogey to fall from the top of the leaderboard.
Cole leads with 63, Scheffler 1 back at PGA Tour's Travelers
Eric Cole returned to the Travelers in much better shape than he left last year, pitching in for eagle from 65 yards on the par-5 13th and posting a 7-under 63 to take a one-shot lead over Scottie Scheffler and five others Thursday.
