NEW YORK -- Raiquan Clark had 30 points, Joel Hernandez scored five of his 18 points in overtime and LIU Brooklyn beat Central Connecticut State 94-89 on Saturday.

LIU Brooklyn (10-13, 5-5 Northeast Conference) rebounded from back-to-back losses while CCSU (12-11, 5-5) had its four-game win streak snapped.
Tyson Batiste scored five points and Joe Hugley made a 3-pointer during an 8-0 spurt and CCSU tied the game at 78 with 59.5 seconds to play. Hernandez's tip in gave the Blackbirds an 82-80 advantage with 11 seconds remaining, but Julian Batts fouled the Blue Devils' Kashaun Hicks with a second left. Hicks missed the first free throw then intentionally missed the second attempt, and Deion Bute put back the rebound to tie it at 82 and force overtime.
