STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- Sam Sessoms had 26 points as Binghamton beat Stony Brook 78-72 in the quarterfinals of the America East Conference Tourney on Saturday night.

J.C. Show had 19 points for Binghamton (10-22). Caleb Stewart added 16 points and three blocks. Calistus Anyichie had seven rebounds for the visitors.

Elijah Olaniyi had 27 points and nine rebounds for the Seawolves (24-8). Jaron Cornish added 13 points. Akwasi Yeboah had 13 points and seven rebounds.
