LYNCHBURG, Va. -- — Zach Cleveland's 22 points helped Liberty defeat New Mexico State 83-58 on Thursday night.
Cleveland also added eight rebounds and seven assists for the Flames (17-11, 6-7 Conference USA). Kyle Rode scored 21 points and added seven rebounds and five assists. Colin Porter shot 3 for 6, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points.
Christian Cook led the way for the Aggies (11-18, 5-9) with 15 points. New Mexico State also got 11 points, seven rebounds and two blocks from Femi Odukale. Jordan Rawls also had 11 points. The loss is the sixth in a row for the Aggies.
