WASHINGTON -- — Garrett Johnson's 18 points helped George Washington defeat New Hampshire 79-67 on Saturday.
Johnson also contributed 10 rebounds for the Revolutionaries (4-0). James Bishop scored 14 points while shooting 3 for 10 (1 for 5 from 3-point range) and 7 of 8 from the free throw line, and added seven rebounds and eight assists. Maximus Edwards had 12 points and shot 5 for 12, including 2 for 4 from beyond the arc.
The Wildcats (2-2) were led by Ahmad Robinson, who recorded 18 points and three steals. Clarence O. Daniels II added 14 points, six rebounds and three steals for New Hampshire. In addition, Jaxson Baker had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
