Voyles added three steals for the Thundering Herd (2-2). Wyatt Fricks scored 15 points while going 6 of 8 from the field. Jacob Conner had 15 points and shot 6 for 9, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc.
Jonathan Aybar led the way for the Panthers (1-5) with 13 points and two steals. Petar Krivokapic added 12 points and four steals for Florida International. Arturo Dean also had 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
