Cornell defeats Lehigh 84-78 in a season-opening matchup
BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- — Sean Hansen's 25 points helped Cornell defeat Lehigh 84-78 on Monday night in a season opener for the teams.
Hansen shot 7 for 9 (4 for 5 from 3-point range) and 7 of 10 from the free throw line for the Big Red. Cooper Noard scored 15 points while shooting 5 for 10, including 5 for 9 from beyond the arc, and added five rebounds.
Guy Ragland Jr. was 4 of 10 shooting, including 2 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line to finish with 14 points for Cornell
Tyler Whitney-Sidney finished with 23 points and two steals for the Mountain Hawks. Dominic Parolin added 16 points and eight rebounds for Lehigh. In addition, Jalin Sinclair had 13 points and five assists.
