NATCHITOCHES, La. -- — Jimel Lane scored 19 points as Northwestern State beat Dallas Christian 101-54 on Monday night in a season opener.
Lane had five rebounds, three steals, and three blocks for the Demons. Ryan Forrest scored 17 points while going 7 of 14 from the floor, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and 2 for 5 from the line. Duane Posey had 12 points and shot 4 of 5 from the field and 4 for 5 from the line.
