Liverpool v Brighton

Liverpool make their first change as Wirtz makes way for Nyoni. Wirtz heads straight down the tunnel just minutes after picking up that knock from a collision with Ayari.

Brighton are still the team on top as the game heads towards the final 25 minutes. The visitors still badly need a goal if they're to really crank the pressure up on Liverpool, though...

Wirtz has now rejoined the action after receiving treatment from the collision with Ayari. Liverpool will need him if they are to bag a third and kill off this game.

Vuskovic steps up to take the resulting free-kick and attempts to lift the ball up and over the Liverpool wall. The Brighton defender does just that, too, but there's too much behind it to threaten Alisson as the ball sails high over the crossbar.

Wirtz looks to be in a significant amount of pain after a coming together with Ayari on the edge of the Liverpool box. Brighton are awarded a free-kick in a dangerous position as a result, but attention is still on Wirtz, who has certainly come off the worst of the two.

Liverpool win a series of corners down the left, both of which are taken by Wirtz. He then looks to find Mac Allister at the near post, but the Argentinian can't quite get on the end of the crosses, and Brighton survive.
