EMMITSBURG, Md. -- — Jalen Leach had 29 points, Brycen Goodine scored 25 and Fairfield held off Mount St. Mary’s 96-92 on Saturday.
Leach also had four steals for the Stags (20-11, 14-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Goodine hit four 3-pointers and all seven of his free throws. Caleb Fields sank three 3-pointers and scored 17.
The Mountaineers (13-18, 9-11) were led by Deshayne Montgomery with 24 points and seven assists. Dakota Leffew added 19 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Josh Reaves added 18 points.
