Morales, Whitecaps tie FC Dallas
VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Pedro Morales scored on a penalty kick in the 53rd minute to help the Vancouver Whitecaps tie FC Dallas 2-2 on Sunday.
Darren Mattocks opened the scoring for Vancouver (6-4-10) in the 11th minute with his fifth goal of the season and third in three game.
Blas Perez, off a scramble in front of the net, tied for Dallas (8-7-5) in the 29th minute, and Brazilian midfielder Michel added a goal on a penalty kick in the 39th.
Dallas is 3-0-3 in its last three games.
