PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- — Ismael Plet's 15 points helped UAPB defeat Prairie View A&M 72-59 on Saturday night.
Plet added 11 rebounds for the Golden Lions (12-15, 7-7 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Rashad Williams scored 13 points, going 5 of 12 (3 for 8 from 3-point range). Kylen Milton had 12 points and was 2 of 7 shooting and 7 of 7 from the free throw line.
Charles Lane Jr. led the Panthers (10-17, 5-9) in scoring, finishing with 24 points and three steals. Brian Myles added 12 points and 10 rebounds for Prairie View A&M. Javontae Hopkins also recorded 12 points, six rebounds and two steals.
