Patrick Dangerfield and wife Mardi have welcomed a baby boy into the world, ESPN has been told.
The pair became first-time parents on Tuesday night, just after 6pm.
It's believed the newborn has been given a royally-inspired name.
The exciting news has Geelong fans eagerly awaiting the 2035 AFL draft, when he's eligible to wear the blue-and-white hooped jersey under father-son rules.
The arrival of the regally-named bub was fortuitous, given Dangerfield last week said he wouldn't leave a game if his wife went into labour.
The Cats play Brisbane at the Gabba this Saturday night.
