Another 1-2 finish in skateboarding for Didal, Means

Margielyn Didal bagged her second gold medal in the 30th Southeast Asian Games after ruling the women's street skateboarding competition Saturday in Tagaytay.

Didal, who struck gold in the 2018 Asian Games in the same event, dominated the field with her total score of 12.7. Her closest competitor was fellow Filipina Christiana Means who finished silver with her tally of 7.3. Indonesia's Kyandra Susanto settled for bronze with a score of 4.0.

The duo of Didal and Means also finished first and second during the game of S.K.A.T.E event last Thursday.

The competition was tighter in the men's street division as Renzo Mark Feliciano was able to give the Philippines a silver medal.

Feliciano notched a 20.6, just a shave under the gold medalist Sanggoe Tanjung of Indonesia who scored a 21.2. Thailand's Sothichai Ruksumruach was close by with his tally of 19.1, taking the bronze medal. Filipino bet Daniel Ledermann, who won gold in the game of S.K.A.T.E, placed fifth overall with a score of 16.4.
