Athletes took to Twitter on Friday evening as news unfolded of a terrorist attack in France. Two loud explosions were heard during France's friendly match against Germany at Stade de France in Paris. The explosions were part of a series of attacks, the deadliest to hit Paris since World War II.
San Antonio Spurs center Boris Diaw, who is from France, tweeted in his native language. In English, his tweet translated to read: "I just saw what's happening in Paris. All my thoughts to the victims and their families."
