Kevin Magnussen passed an FIA medical test on Thursday morning, meaning he has been given the all clear to race in Sunday's Italian Grand Prix.
Magnussen suffered a huge accident on lap six of the Belgian Grand Prix after losing control of his Renault at the top of Eau Rouge. He escaped the 42G impact with nothing more than a bruised and slightly cut left ankle, but under FIA regulations was required to undergo a medical examination at Monza before being allowed to race this weekend.
The tests found that Magnussen is fit to race, with his Renault team confirming the news via Twitter.
Meanwhile, a word from Kev (well, a hand gesture really but you know what we mean): all clear to race 👌#ItalianGP pic.twitter.com/BBQJ06QW19
