PLDT Chairman and TNT Tropang Giga owner Manny V. Pangilinan took to social media on Saturday evening to express doubt on guard Bobby Ray Parks Jr.'s stated reasons for sitting out the 2021 PBA season.
It comes in light of Parks' announcement on Saturday afternoon stating that he will skip the 46th season of the PBA due to "personal reasons...in particular, my family", adding that he had been "in constant talks with TNT management" and that his decision wasn't easy to make "but right now, this is what's best for me and my family." The two sides had been in negotiations for a new contract since the start of the year.
TNT shared on its official social media accounts a Facebook post by Pangilinan with the hashtag #JudgeForYourself as its caption.

Pangilinan posted a picture of Parks posing with a fan at a beach with an accompanying caption.
"This photo taken Thursday last week, around 9 pm. February 25, in San Juan, La Union. don't see any mother being cared for, and as far as I know, La Union is nowhere near California. Judge for yourself. #PBA #onesports," Pangilinan posted.
On March 6, surfer Roger Casugay posted two videos of him and Parks training on a beach. The post's tagged location was San Juan, La Union with the caption "We go @ray1parks".
Parks was the statistical point frontrunner of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup inside the bubble, with averages of 22.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists for the Tropang Giga.
