A low-scoring game but still a one-sided one with RR moving to second on the points table, and LSG continuing their horror run. If you missed any of the action, Shashank Kishore's report has you covered. Thanks for tuning in as always and thanks for all your comments. Until tomorrow, this is me, Ashish Pant, signing off on behalf of Ekanth, Chandan and Raghav. Ciao!

Ravindra Jadeja is the player of the match: Feeling good, winning Man of the match. I want to dedicate the award to the education minister of Gujarat [which is his wife]. She said yesterday that I will do well and I did. Wicket was not easy to bat because the ball was seaming and swinging. I wanted to play long as much as I can. In T20 cricket, you never know last over you can cash in and we did. [On the last over] Not easy coming back from injury. I was just backing my strength. I was telling my partner to wait and go after the bowling. [On the celebration after taking Pooran's wicket] Yes, Nicholas Pooran is in my pocket. Random thought came into my mind and I did it. [On bowling slow] The ball was gripping so I was thinking whether I should bowl quicker or slow. When bowling slow, I got some hold and that helped.

Riyan Parag: We were really short with the bat. We have to be better. 180 was a really good score, but the bowlers [doffs his cap]. [Low scores] It's because of the wickets. At the start of the tournament, we were a team that assess and adapt and that's how the middle order has gone. [On Archer and Burger] I am blessed. For two bowlers to bowl 3-3 in the powerplay was commendable. The lengths and lines they bowled and the way we fielded... impressive. [On RR petering away in earlier seasons] The message on the groups have been very positive. I had gone through something, even now I am going through something and everyone understands that. I feel the way I'm batting an innings is not not too far away, but as I've been saying, if I go in tomorrow and I play another game, it's going to be what the team needs. It's not me not scoring runs and taking my time getting 40 or 30. Time for presentation

Nandre Burger: It is good to get back to the winning side of things. Bowling with Jof [Archer] is cool. A bit of stutter with the bat but the boys will fix that. The wicket had a mahogany tint to it and the ball was gripping. I was trying to bowl the cutters and hope it grips. I want to keep it as simple as possible. We are just working to bowl the stock balls.

Rishabh Pant: [Where LSG lost] I don't have answers. Batting has let us down. We are disappointed as a team, as a group. You have to look for answers inside, not outside. We could have taken some time while batting. No excuses out there. Including myself, we could have taken it deeper. As a batting group, we have to put our hands up. [Bowling] We have to look at positives. We have to keep our head high and look for answers inside. We have the firepower to turn the season around. Thanks for being soft today [to the commentators].

KumarS: "Sir for POTM. easy choice!"

11.14pm RR move to second on the points table but more importantly are back to winning ways after two tough losses. They managed just 159, and that too because of some late hits from Jadeja. But the bowlers were just brilliant. Jofra Archer picked up three wickets, Nandre Burger and Brijesh Sharma two each, while Jadeja and Bishnoi one each as LSG were bowled out for a mere 119 in 18 overs. RR have managed to defend 159, the lowest score defend ended this season.
