With an 8-34 record, the Philadelphia 76ers are hurtling toward another lottery as the team's rebuilding process continues. But that doesn't mean they aren't having some fun with each other.
The team's official Twitter account tweeted this photo, ostensibly of Sixers rookie JaKarr Sampson's SUV wrapped in tinfoil.

It's not clear what Sampson did wrong to provoke the foiling -- maybe it was just being a rookie -- but he can be grateful he didn't forget the team's doughnuts, like Dion Waiters did two years ago.
The Cavaliers punished Waiters, then a rookie, with the ultimate indignity -- a car full of popcorn.
For the Sixers, it's the second time this week they've taken to high jinks.
Jason Richardson, who's recovering from a stress fracture in his foot, celebrated his 34th birthday on Tuesday, and he showed off the presents his (much younger) teammates gave him on his Instagram.
To complete the trifecta of Philly pranks, let's send it back to 2012 for a #tbt. Remember when the Sixers' vets fooled the rookies into jogging out onto the court to take their warm-up shots all by their lonesome?
Update: Sampson's teammate Rob Covington filmed the rookie's reaction and uploaded it to Instagram:
He handled it pretty well!
