INDIANAPOLIS -- Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry moved into third place on the NFL's all-time rushing touchdowns list by scoring three times against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Henry reached 125 career rushing touchdowns on runs of 4 and 32 yards in the first half and a 3-yard rush in the third quarter, moving him past Marcus Allen (123).
"I love Marcus Allen," Henry said after the Ravens' 41-23 victory at the Colts. "I got to get to know him through the Heisman commercials. He's a great dude. And for my name to be mentioned up with his, it's an honor. I'm very grateful."
Henry, 32, finished with 144 yards rushing and recorded his eighth career game with three or more rushing touchdowns.
He now trails only Emmitt Smith (164) and LaDainian Tomlinson (145).
This marked Henry's 33rd career game with two or more touchdown runs, which are the most in the NFL since 2016. Henry has totaled 12 rushing touchdowns in 17 meetings with the Colts.
He also passed receiver Marvin Harrison for ninth all time with 130 total touchdowns, putting him one behind Cris Carter at eighth.
"You don't want to take it for granted with those type of performances because they're really special," Ravens coach Jesse Minter said. "But it's a tribute to how he operates and how he works every day."
