Williams faces another arm operation

Neath wing Shane Williams is likely to be ruled out of contention to face Ireland in the Six Nations championship on October 13 with the news he faces another operation on his injured arm.

Williams, who originally injured his arm after falling whilst riding his bike, suffered the latest setback against Newport and it was not discovered until after he was forced off with a hip-muscle injury.

He has had already had one skin graft that broke open against the Black and Ambers.

In obvious discomfort, Williams lamented, "I don't know how long it will take to get the arm right, but I won't be coming back too soon next time. This time I'm going to get it absolutely right before attempting another comeback."
