France flanker Sebastien Chabal hailed his team's 39-3 win over Italy in Rome as a ``good start'' to their defence of the RBS 6 Nations title.
The main focus for Les Bleus this year is the World Cup in the autumn but Sale Shark Chabal was delighted to start 2007 with a win.
``We know it's never easy in Italy,'' said Chabal.
``And we had really good first half. We made a few mistakes but it's a really good start to the tournament.''
