South Africa have confirmed the 24-man squad for the forthcoming clash with Argentina and the remaining Tri-Nations clashes with Australia and New Zealand.
Team management announced today the names of four players who will return to their provincial teams to participate in the Currie Cup competition.
They are Ruan Pienaar, Odwa Ndungane, Francois Steyn and Gurthro Steenkamp.
The 30-man Springbok squad was reduced to 28 last week when Peter Grant and Ryan Kankowski were forced to withdraw due to shoulder injuries.
The Springboks will assemble this week in Pretoria to begin their preparations for the Mandela Tribute Test against Argentina on 9 August in Johannesburg.
