The champs are here.

The Golden State Valkyries won the 2026 WNBA championship after defeating the Atlanta Dream in seven games.

Gabby Williams shined in the series-clinching 68-63 win, pouring in 30 points, including multiple big buckets down the stretch to help the Valkyries take control of the game in the final minutes. Williams, who scored 28 of her 30 points in the second half to set a WNBA Finals record for points in a single half, was named series MVP. Kiah Stokes, Veronica Burton and Kaila Charles all moved the needle by grabbing boards for Golden State -- the trio combined for 31 of the team's 38 total rebounds on the night.

The Valkyries' victory -- which made them the quickest expansion team to win a title in league history -- was feted by a variety of local teams and A-list celebrity fans, who took their cheers and congratulations to social media.

From former President Barack Obama to the Bay Area's other professional sports outfits, here's how social media celebrated Golden State's title.
